Wiltshire Councils Archaeology Team discusses their Monument Management Scheme

The Wiltshire Council Archaeology team are involved with a number of Monument Management Schemes (MMS) each year. These schemes are joint ventures with English Heritage (using matched funding). Each scheme looks at a Scheduled Monument that is considered to be ‘at risk’ and works are then undertaken to reduce the damage or risk to the monument.
